Working with Castle Fine Art and Halcyon Gallery means a lot to Steve Winterburn as it is a collaboration and bond that dates back to the start of his career. In recent years he has really been building on this, specifically with castle with multiple exclusive collection releases building an impressive co-catalogue. This past Saturday however was the first time they have held an event together.
The exhibition was to mark the launch of the new Grounded Serenity sculpture, but also to celebrate the illustrious inventory of sculpture spanning from across 30 years of Steve’s career. It was a 4 hour event from 12-4pm showcasing nearly 30 pieces of sculpture, including a Q&A and live sculpting with Steve, held at Castle Fine Art’s gallery in the beautiful city of Bath.
The show was an overwhelming success with nothing but positivity towards Steve and his artwork, it was so nice for him to be able to mix with clients hear their thoughts and explain the process and his story to them. The atmosphere was brilliant, with an outstanding turn out, including a lovely blend of invitees and walk ins alongside the Castle and Winterburn teams.
All in all, the event could not have been better and we would like to thank all of those who took time out to attend and to all those in the teams that brought it all together and made it happen, we are very much looking forward to the next…
