After spending time referencing at various hunts for equine and hound sculptures through the years, the one moment that would always stick out to Steve is when the hounds elegantly and effortlessly clear the fence without breaking stride and continue their path to the scent.
That’s where the inspiration of this piece was born, with the latter part of the fence jump being the focus. Steve has created a magnificent piece of sculpture with a lovely balanced composition which completely encaptivates the whole effortless flow of the hound in movement. The delicacy of the piece being poised only on the front feet, makes this a very light and pleasing piece that looks brilliant in any room.
