Private and public commissions are a huge part of our business. Together with Steve Winterburn our commissions vary from small commissions for private client’s homes, to huge scale public pieces in excess of 15ft. This is the most intensive service we offer. We work closely with the client throughout the entire process from providing designs and concepts for their ideas, right through to producing the sculpture and finishing it in metal. With the latest 3D technology available in house, we are able to expand horizons with commission based work. There are no limits to the creative process meaning we can achieve exactly what the client has in mind.
The commission process can also be kept completely private. We have worked with many A-list clients where confidentiality is paramount. We have a lot of experience in this field and with a private studio and the use of NDA’s, we make sure that the client and their commission are completely protected.
Over the years we have amassed a large number of both private and public commissions which have been completed in major cities throughout the country and worldwide. Public pieces include our flagship piece at Wembley Stadium in London, with others spanning across the UK in cities such as Cardiff, Leeds and Leicester. Our private commissions have varied massively from bespoke sculptures for the London Stock Exchange, to one of a kind wine cisterns and Mantel clocks. The wine cisterns and Mantel clocks were completed with a combination of precious metals including silver and gold. We have strong working relations with some of the best precious metal workers in the world which makes projects such as those mentioned above possible. After many years of working alongside these skilled craftsmen and honing our own skills, Winterburn Fine Art has now been granted their own British Hallmark.
