It was our pleasure to attend and be part of this years Asia Cup Polo hosted at the Winkfield Park Polo club. The weekend was brilliant from start to finish with great food, drink, entertainment and of course Polo, everyone that attended contributed to what was an incredible atmosphere, which was made all the more special by the fact it was the 25th Asia Cup.
The event for us was a similar format to that of our exhibitions across the country, we showcased a selection of Steve Winterburn’s sculptures in bronze and alongside this having Steve himself with a WIP piece which he was sculpting live in person engaging and chatting with the captive audience. We took two life-sized pieces a leopard and a cheetah and the a selection of smaller pieces including “The Sport of Kings” Steve’s polo sculpture, these were all situated in various parts of the VIP area and lounge.
We would like to thank everyone who was part of this past weekend, from everyone who attended the weekend and all those that came to say hello, to the whole team involved in making the Asia Cup Polo such a brilliant event! It was an honour for us to be involved and I’m sure it is going to become a regular in the Winterburn calendar.
