3D Technology is another asset to our company, we have cutting edge equipment both in scanning and printing. Adding this technology allows us to enhance our work, develop new ideas and create innovative designs. It is an invaluable tool for the development of our business and that of our clientele. We can complete the whole process from scanning, to manipulating and repairing the mesh models with our high end Geomagic wrap software, to then converting the mesh to a suitable file for printing or other use.
We have a state of the art Breuckmann smart SCAN, which is a high resolution, high accuracy white light scanner.
Smart SCAN systems capture the minutest detail at the highest level of accuracy for all scanning projects, and even under temperature fluctuations operate with consistently stable and reliable performance. Thanks to the miniaturized projection technique (MPT), Breuckmann’s 3D measuring systems are characterized by very fast data acquisition; even the most complex surface geometries of fragile parts are captured within seconds at a high level of precision.
The system configuration is easily customized to suit individual project requirements and the spectrum of the 3D data acquisition ranges from the smallest injection nozzles up to full-size vehicles.
Our printer is a Projet 2500 from the latest line of printers from 3D Systems. It is one of the best in the industry due to its extremely high quality, accuracy and surface finish.
The material used is a rigid white plastic that is durable, perfect for many uses. The print bed size is 11.6 x 8.3 x 5.6 in (295 x 211 x 142 mm) however big parts can be printed by breaking them down into component parts on our 3d software with accurate dowels meaning they can be printed separately and fit perfectly when assembled.
ProJet MJP 2500 Series’ industrial print head and optimized print parameters deliver up to 3 times faster print speeds than similar class printers for better efficiencies and higher productivity.
